Tallow is a rich, nourishing fat that comes from rendering beef fat, but not all tallow is the same. It can be made from trim fat or suet, the fat surrounding the kidneys, which is prized for its higher concentration of nutrients. We use only suet from our grass-fed, grass-finished cows—never grain-fed—so every batch is as pure and wholesome as nature intended.
We raise our own cattle right here on our farm in Colorado. Our cows are rotationally grazed, carefully managed, and 100% grass-fed and grass-finished—never given grain—allowing them to thrive naturally while enriching the land. This mindful approach ensures the highest-quality, nutrient-rich tallow for our skincare products.
Every ingredient in our products are chosen with care, and a commitment to sustainability. Our suet comes directly from our own grass-fed, grass-finished cows, while the botanicals we use are either foraged from our farm, grown in our garden, or sourced locally from like-minded farmers. We prioritize soil health by producing all our own compost, using cover crops, and never using anything synthetic. If we can’t grow, raise, or forage an ingredient ourselves, we carefully source it from trusted like minded local farmer. The only 2 exception to this are certified organic, fair-trade jojoba oil and lye for our soaps, which are the only ingredients not currently sourced nearby.
Are our products organic, YES!. Are they certified organic, no. We grow and raise all our ingredients as nature intended, with animals and plants working and prioritizing soil health. Our farm isn’t just about what we harvest —it’s about creating a self-sustaining system where everything has its place.
All the ingredients we use, minus lye, are either certified organic or grown/raised organically.
Being a family run business, on top of a family run farm, homeschooling, & daily life, we only ship out orders on Tuesdays and Fridays. So if you place your order between Friday and Monday, it will ship on Tuesday. And if you place your order between Tuesday and Thursday, it will ship out on Friday.
During check out it will be able to estimate when you will receive your order, but most orders arrive with in 3-4 business days.
